Series consists of financial records created, used, or received by the Board of Governors and its financial officers and finance-related committees. Over the decades, the Board· of Governors has struck many committees. Some have had a limited purpose, such as the Ad Hoc Committee on Campus Security and the Committee Appointed to Report on the Stevenson Scholarships. Others are standing committees that have existed for years, such as the Nominations Committee and the Property, Grounds, and Safety Committee.

Series consists of records of committees established by the Board through the decades. Many committees were short-lived, established for a particular purpose. There may not be records from all committees that have existed.
