              Series consists of records related to running the KSU and its office: common functions such as office space, equipment and suppliers, human resources, and general administrative matters; housekeeping or support tasks that keep the office running and support its main programs and services. Included are records pertaining to entertainment suppliers, film licences, band contracts, stationery, services, etc. Those files contain invoices, financial records, promotional materials and correspondence. Suppliers and services records are arranged alphabetically by company name.

              Series contains documents pertaining to administration and daily running of the Library. Included are photocopy and film licensing agreements; statistical surveys; agreements with Dalhousie; job descriptions of each Library staff position, payroll documentation from 1989-2005, complaint/suggestion forms from 1991-2000. The series also includes personnel files for staff members, containing job offers, salary details, and some correspondence for the staff and student assistants who worked in the library between the years of 1980 and 2004. Series includes schedules and staffing studies.

              Sub-series contains documents and materials outlining the procedures through which students enter the School of Journalism. Records include registration forms for admittance to the School, workshops and classes. Unclaimed diplomas from the Bachelor of Journalism program are shelved separately ( oversized).

              In 1903, the Board of Governors minutes note that the Women's Auxiliary (later called the Alexandra Society) and the Friends of King's, were raising money for King's. The Alexandra Society would soon make an annual gift of $1,000 or more to pay for.the Divinity Professor's salary. The first mention of the Alexandra Chair of Divinity Fund is in 1910.

              Sub-series consists of statements and ledger sheets relating to this fund.
