Fonds consist of materials created and collected by the University of King's College King’s Students’ Union and its committees while carrying out their mandated functions. Documents reflect all aspects of the Union’s sphere of responsibility and include meeting minutes and agendas; governance documents; financial, operational, and administrative records; both internal and external relations; and information on student societies related to the KSU and its maintenance.
The fonds contain the KSU' s founding documents; Council, Executive and General meeting minutes; correspondence, financial records and budgets, reports, posters and publications. It includes records of KSU services and activities, as well as records documenting KSU' s involvement in issues affecting student life. Most records are from the 1980-2000 period, but records dating to the 1890s as well as to the present day (2022) are also included in the fonds. This fonds includes the KSU records processed in 1993 by John Weeren.
